Description of Finbridge BackOffice system.

Due to high rates of the Financial Bridge Asset Management growth the problem of automated discount activities rose just from the very beginning of the company's work. During three years its personnel was engaged in the development of a system which could better meet high demands of discount activities of the company.

The development was performed both by financial experts and by software experts.

Finbridge BackOffice is a complex approach to the challenge of the discount activities automation, since it includes modules for the automation of accountancy, internal discount, depositary accounting and operations of assets management.

The system has realized all types of operations with securities performed by a professional participant (purchase and sale of securities, REPO, paying off of bills of exchange, bonds, accounting of urgent transactions) considering the location of such operations (various places of exchanges, off-exchange facilities, RTS Board). Import of data about performed operations from exchange information systems (MICEX, RTS), and from several Internet Trading systems (Interfax-Direct, Quick) is also automated.

The reflection of internal discount operations is based on the plan of internal discount accounts, developed according to FFMS (FCCMS of Russia) statements, NAUFOR and NSMA internal documents with the consideration of four-year experience in discount operations at securities market and check-ups by NAUFOR, FCCMS of Russia and rating authorities. The system automates the processing of internal accounting data for the preparation of filling in of quarterly and other paperwork of professional participants for FFMS as well as the export of these data to the electronic enquiry list.

Main functional abilities of the systems on the whole:

  • Ability to perform all kinds of accounting in one system;
  • Discount of exchange, off-exchange, marginal, REPO and other kinds of transactions;
  • Interaction with different external appendices (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
  • Almost total exclusion of manual input of data to the system;
  • High rate of data input and processing;
  • Impossibility of errors in the discount.

Finbridge BackOffice system is implemented and is successfully working in Financial Bridge Asset Management and some other companies for more than two years.
